A Fellowship of 27 Adorable Animal and LOTR Memes That Must Be Cast into the Fires of Mount Doom

Even though it's Monday, animal fam, it doesn't mean that we can't start our week with a fantastical fur-filled fellowship of fun. If there was any day that felt like dredging through Mordor to Mount Doom, it would be Monday, so we might as well find a way to laugh through our arduous journey to Friday just like Frodo and Sam traveled through the dark capital of Sauron.

If there is anything that could pawssibly equal our love for animals, it's Lord of the Rings. Those were some of our favorite books as a teenager who loved all things mystical and to this day we still get a kick out of watching the movies (the extended additions, of course) and forcing our partner to stay awake through all three hours.

We always wanted a pet dragon in real life. Unfortunately, the closest we're going to get is this Great-Eared Nightjar, and even then we'll probably never have one as a pet. It is insanely cute though. Does it breathe fire? No. But does it have cute little ears that look like horns? Absolutely. That's good enough for us.
